Well-Intended Wins for Week of Aug. 5th

Help boost your wellness and win the war against womp-wompiness.

I am launching a new weekly series with some achievable tips to help boost your wellness and win the war against womp-wompiness.  I have found that small, positive changes can begin to add up to measurable improvement towards a happier, healthier and more-sustainable lifestyle.  Mix and match these Well-Intended tips each week to see what works and feels best for you!

  1. Workout for Mental Wellness not just your Waistline: Can you do more workouts than nights out this week?  Even a 20 minute walk will count.
  2. Put your Own Oxygen Mask on First*: Can you complete 1 act of self-care?  How about a hot shower with these aromatherapy steamers?   Doesn’t that sound delightful?
  3. A Good Day Starts with a Good Night’s Sleep: Can you set yourself up for 1 better night sleep this week at bedtime (maybe 10pm and no booze before hand?) and take some time to quiet your mind by playing some nature sounds to relax or start with just 3 minutes of meditation with a Mindfulness app?  If you have an Amazon Echo try, “Alexa, play nature sounds for sleep.”  Ahhhh…
